Residential Grading & Site Plan
Over the last few years, the City of Houston and surrounding areas have been requiring grading/drainage plans for lots not located in a master planned community including lots that were previously developed (tear down homes). Many of these lots are located in the FEMA flood zone “AE” (100-year flood plain). These lots require mitigation and sometimes conveyance analysis.
We designed the grading and drainage for over 100 lots in the Meyerland area and not one of the houses we designed flooded during Hurricane Harvey. In-fact the City of Houston used our recommendation on finished floor houses on post Harvey requirements.
