Scope of Work:

  • Designed new public roadway systems serving the 348-unit development.

  • Expanded water distribution infrastructure to support the residential community.

  • Extended sanitary sewer infrastructure to meet projected service demand.

  • Engineered a comprehensive stormwater management system built for long-term resilience and regulatory compliance.

  • Completed site grading, utility coordination, and drainage design to meet federal, municipal, and environmental standards simultaneously.

Scope of Work:

  • Designed a regional stormwater detention system to mitigate post-development runoff.

  • Engineered a comprehensive internal drainage network.

  • Designed water distribution and sanitary sewer infrastructure for multiple commercial buildings.

  • Designed access roadways connecting to the adjacent public street network.

  • Delivered floodplain mitigation design to meet local compliance standards.

  • Scale: 1.51-acre site delivered as a fully permitted, shovel-ready plan

 

Scope of Work:

  • Engineered a shared dual-pond stormwater detention system across two adjacent lots.

  • Designed detention to meet TxDOT discharge thresholds for 10-year and 100-year storm events.

  • Reduced post-development peak runoff from 8.33 CFS to 4.16 CFS through hydraulic analysis.

  • Designed drive-through circulation, a 21-space parking facility, and ADA-compliant pedestrian access.

  • Designed a CMU retaining wall at the shared property boundary.

  • Designed full site utilities: potable water with backflow prevention, fire protection, sanitary sewer with grease interceptor, and site drainage.

  • Scale: 62 lots delivered from design through construction.

  • Role: JRH Engineering served as civil engineer of record and construction manager.

 

Scope of Work:

  • Designed a public sanitary sewer extension connecting the development to the existing municipal system.

  • Engineered the internal roadway network, including pavement cross-sections, curb and gutter, and geometric design.

  • Developed a comprehensive storm sewer system compliant with local drainage requirements.

Project Overview:

  • Project type: Master-planned residential subdivision (Magnolia Trails Section 1).

  • Scale: 113 lots across 51.4 acres in Brazoria County, TX.

  • Partner: Developed with Sullivan Brothers Builders.

 

Scope of Work:

  • Designed mass grading across the full 51.4-acre tract, establishing finished lot grades, drainage patterns, and earthwork quantities.

  • Designed offsite water distribution and sanitary sewer infrastructure to extend municipal service to the development.

  • Performed hydraulic analysis, pipe sizing, and alignment design for utility extensions.

  • Engineered a stormwater management system addressing both water quantity and quality.

  • Designed storm sewer collection, detention facilities, and drainage outfalls compliant with floodplain and MUD standards.

  • Designed internal subdivision roadways, including geometric layout, pavement cross-sections, curb and gutter, and ADA-compliant pedestrian infrastructure.

  • Prepared and submitted a full Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for construction permitting.
